Love History of this prestige wine: 

April 2010, William D. Friedberg donated a plot from the Santenay appellation to the Hospices de Beaune, with a surface of 60 ares of Pinot Noir. He has been a wine importer from boston, USA and a wine lover for a very long time now. By donating this plot, he wishes to honour the memory of his wife that passed away in 2009, who was also a wine lover. That is why this wine named “Cuvée Christine Friedberg”.

TASTING NOTES:

Grape Variety : 100% Pinot Noir

*Eye: Red wine with intense colour.

*Nose: a beautiful finesse with red fruits

*Palate: wine more about elegance with powerful and velvety tannins. The mouth is round and ample.

This cuvée is made with grapes coming from “Les Hâtes” plot. Long lasting finish with complexity

Pairing: Beef, lamb or game, soft cheeses…

Serving Temperature: 14-15 degree

Ageing: 5-10 years
